The first part of my backpacker trip through Australia can be seen on that map. Starting in Sydney and the Blue Mountains, the Hunter Valley and Newcastle, I´m passing the party and surfer paradise in Byron Bay and Surfers Paradise, the hippie-like village Nimbin and Brisbane. Then further to the big sand island Fraser Island to the paradise-like Whitsunday Islands, stopping in Innisfail to hump bananas and finally reaching Cairns and Cape Tribulation nearby Port Douglas.
