A trip to Kuala Lumpur, Java, Bali and Lombok

In August 2010 I got the travel bug again. And another time I went far away from home. But therefore this 1-month trip through Malaysia and Indonesia was even more worth it.
After a few city impressions of Kuala Lumpur, I flew to the east of Java to discover the impressive landscape of the vulcanoes in Indonesia.
On Bali I had plenty of time to drive from Lovina in the north, with its black sand beaches, to the livley town of Ubud further south. Together with Amed, Padangbai and the surfer paradise Kuta all these places show the diversity of the island. Visiting the Gili Islands, tiny sand islands west of Lombok, was just one of the many highlights.

There was a lot to see..., and a lot to take pictures of, too.
